This exercise is a real tasting allow each person to go into what suits him at this time. He is trying different qualities or attitudes and to choose one that best fits the context of current life of the individual and his aspirations. It is also an exercise used in teaching Focusing to develop the perception of bodily sense (is what I feel such joy in the same way that I feel the serenity and tenderness?). Each evokes a quality feel different.
"Take time to get your attention inside of you in this area where you usually feel emotions (throat, chest, solar plexus, belly). I'll show you some qualities or attitudes, and each person, you will see how it feels in you.
I will first introduce the joy ... Take time to feel how much joy is manifested in you. See how it goes in your body when joy is this ... Can you match the joy a posture for example ... (Pause)
