a quality in itself the object of attention
This exercise is a real tasting allow each person to go into what suits him at this time. He is trying different qualities or attitudes and to choose one that best fits the context of current life of the individual and his aspirations. It is also an exercise used in teaching Focusing to develop the perception of bodily sense (is what I feel such joy in the same way that I feel the serenity and tenderness?). Each evokes a quality feel different.
"Take time to get your attention inside of you in this area where you usually feel emotions (throat, chest, solar plexus, belly). I'll show you some qualities or attitudes, and each person, you will see how it feels in you.
I will first introduce the joy ... Take time to feel how much joy is manifested in you. See how it goes in your body when joy is this ... Can you match the joy a posture for example ... (Pause)
When you had a moment with joy, see if it's possible now to let go and get ready to welcome a new quality ... I now present to you the confidence ... see how confidence is manifested when it is present in you ... how is your body ... your posture ... your breathing ... (Pause)
Then let pass this quality or attitude to make room for patience ... see how you react to the patient ... is it difficult for you to make room for patience ... what is the spontaneous reaction that occurs to you when the we offer you the patience ... (Pause)
See now the flexibility ... creativity ... serenity ... humor ... compassion ... (It is possible to vary the qualities and attitudes depending on the group and the inspiration of the moment) ...
You is it possible to feel each of these qualities or attitudes? Is there anyone out there one that is appropriate for you right now? One that you like or attracts more than others and would like to develop in your life?
Take time to choose a quality or attitude that you would like to develop in the current context of your life. This may be one of those mentioned or whatever would suit you ... (Pause)
(Asking people to sign when you have chosen quality)
Now that you are in contact with the attitude or the quality you want to develop, see if there is anything that prevents you from fully developing.
If something prevents you, take time to feel this impediment in your whole body ... see if you can recognize this barrier and take some distance. Do you need to say anything that interferes? Maybe you can come back later ... (Pause)
Bring your attention inside of you where you can feel the quality you want to develop and verify if you are now a little more in touch with this quality. How does that feel? ... (Pause)
let you feel what happens in you when you ask the question: "How I feel in my body in my life if this attitude or quality was already fully integrated? ".
Allow yourself to imagine a little about your life, your future actions imbued with this quality. Boost it. Breathe it fully and take time to savor it ... (Pause)
Take the time to complete this exercise in your own way and when you're ready, return quietly to the group in keeping with the positive feeling you or anything that you have this experience. "

Cost Of Trailer Plate In Ontario
By Focusing we pay attention to something that is present in us. They say there's a topic (there's me) bringing attention to an object (there is that). The object of attention can be any current situation in our lives. It is also possible to pay attention to a body part, a relationship or any capacity.
One object of attention may be, for example, respiration. When I pay attention to my breathing on the mode of Focusing, I can dwell on is how to recognize my breath right now. I would find perhaps a word or an image to describe it.
The peculiarity of the approach is Focusing this interest to what we wear. A relationship is established with a part of us that demands our attention or that we have chosen to focus.
Many compound exercises over time by Focusing stakeholders, will enable participants to a class or any group to focus simultaneously on the same object of attention.
To facilitate the introduction to the process of Focusing, we present on this blog a few exercises that can be used with different audiences and in different contexts. You'll find:
- Listening
- inner clearance space
- The anchoring body
- The guesthouse
- Quality self
- The weather itself is relatively
Most people who are proposing these exercises will get a result (sometimes pleasant, sometimes surprising) and will be able Then a voice on what experience has taught them.

Having an outlet (step 3)
For Gendlin, access to the body is not experienced enough to "make Focusing. For a process is complete, there must be a movement.
In the process of Focusing something in us moves and turns because he pays attention. To assist the movement inside, it is important to stay in the presence of this "something" that is there and is called the "feeling body".
This can be felt strange and difficult to describe at first. Most of the time it takes to leave a little time for it is formed. Some issues, used wisely, can help train the body felt. It may, for example, by specifying a color, texture, material (soft, runny or hard as concrete for example) or an emotional quality (heavy, crushed, filled with pain).
When words or images come to help us clarify the meaning body, we say that there is a "taking." This "decision" is the third step of Focusing. It will then allow us to interact with this feeling to learn something and that movement can occur (step 4).
The "taking" is not a image that can be detached from the felt. It is important to keep such a link that takes us back to how this "decision" can be felt within us.
A kind of return is between the "taking" and "feeling" and that is where the body movement can come. If the sentence example, Gendlin asks us to keep in touch with that place in us crying. If there is a "profound misunderstanding" we can keep in touch with how this misunderstanding manifests itself in us. Images can then emerge, or words, or something new and unexpected.
