Focusing in, important issues are handled by the game At the meeting of the Group Focusing on healing,
October 10, the card game needs and feelings was our link tool. The game is actually quite simple to use. Once known steps we just need someone to take time.
The game features two large decks, the first being composed of feelings (with images and colors) and the second needs (identified by colors corresponding to the five categories of Maslow). Each player has a round about 20 minutes. The player first chooses one of her current life situation to which he wants to spend this listening session. He spent the first 5 minutes of his turn to present the situation he chooses. The cards are then shared feelings among the players who listen. Each provides turn cards that could match what was felt by the person at the event said.
The player keeps the cards that suit them and then takes all the remaining cards to see if those who were not selected by his listeners might suit him. The player sees how he feels with "all that", viewing and manipulation of cards that could come into resonance with the bodily sense.
In the third and final part of the round, the player takes the card needs and see what their needs are concerning the story. One player listeners then it will reflect their needs.
The playing card are described on the site
Beatrice Blake who was the instigator of this game in the Focusing community.
We tested the game and have created a more elaborate version by adding color, images, and experiential propositions.
