Places and times for listening

I am preparing a Power Point presentation on the practice Focusing social and relational. I think the proposal Gendlin me the most affected and that led me to devote much time and energy to promoting the Focusing and Listening is his proposal to build roles and time out of the social fabric in order to allow people to meet at a deeper level.

The social project of Gendlin is not yet fully complete but I think it progresses. The Partnership Focusing is already a significant achievement. This is a new social practice: two people available to turn a moment to listen. This practice is not free and governed by the Focusing Institute or any other proceeding. We encourage partnership and we offer people the opportunity to join our partnership bank. We offer introductory sessions to the practice of partnership, but each is free to integrate this process in its own way.

Listening individually by a trained, certified Focusing is also I think a new social practice. This is not therapy. Listening, however, may comprise part of the educational process. The tags are established between a listener who knows the process and can "guide" another person through the steps and people develop their ability to use Focusing.

New forms are currently under development and the resource group is one of them.
